Creative Creature is a web development and design company working with clients in the art, education, and government sectors to create beautiful, useful web content.
It is also the home of Johnny Rodgers, multimedia designer and dedicated pixel-mechanic. I primarily focus on XHTML and CSS design, web application development with Ruby on Rails, interface design, and web standards consulting. I also work with JavaScript, Flash, PHP, XML, Processing, and whatever other tools are needed for the job. I do my best to comply with web standards and best practices, and to contribute to progressive environmental and social causes. Most of all, I love learning about new web technologies and open source tools. I write about these and other topics on my blog, Recursive Loop.

Environmental Responsibility
One percent of Creative Creature's annual sales are donated to environmental initiatives. This process is facilitated and overseen by 1% for the Planet.
Since 2002, over 1000 1% FTP member companies have donated over $42 million USD to help conserve the environment. Each member chooses which of over 1700 environmental groups receive their donations. Creative Creature's donations to date have gone to the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, specifically in support of their Big Wild initiative. Find out more.
